How I Met Your Mother Episodes
How I Met Your Mother is an amazing sitcom that premiered on September 19, 2005 on CBS. The show has made it through four seasons with success. The authors are Craig Thomas and Carter Bays. Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) the main character in the show which takes place in 2030, recalls memories to his son and daughter about the events that led to meeting their mother. Therefore explains the title of the show.
The show’s supporting cast of five people meet together during nights at a bar called McClarren’s. Here where most of the show takes place. Sitting at a booth with drinks busting on each other, laughing and having a good time. Ted the main character looks to meet his future spouse throughout the show with his trusty wingman Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris)
The show is like a modern day college graduate with a decent career, who are independent and enjoy the comforts of friends. The show is worth watching because it’s very fluid and is an entertaining and funny sitcom. Very good portrayal of someone out of college in the real world trying to enjoying whats left of their late twenties. Ted being an architect; Barney a corporate banker; Lily a kindergarten teacher; Marshall a soon to be lawyer; and Robin a news reporter.
The show takes place in a bar McClarrens’ with five of the supporting cast including Ted. What’s awesome is that Ted and Marshall live above a bar called McClarrens’. This is the bar that the rest of the group normally meet together for a few drinks. Where they talk about each others fictional, but yet very interesting lives. They all have rather different careers and talk about the events that happen throughout their busy days.
The show and how it begins is with the group meeting which was. Ted meeting his best friend in college, Marshall; who became his smoke buddy, who would of figured? Then in turn meets Lily which is Marshall girlfriend. Robin meets Ted at the bar when he ends up thinking she is the one, but few episodes later, finds out she isn’t the mother. And then there is Barney who he meets at the same bar while trying to hook him up with ladies and throughout the show tries to hook Ted up with the infamous wing-man line, “have you met Ted?!”
Barney’s witty attitude and outspoken thoughts gives the show an added bang. Barney the successful banker/playboy tries to get Ted to be his wing-man so they both could hook up with women of New York City. Ted goes on outings with his friend Barney to some of New York’s finest places. At the same time tries to keep Ted away from the whole marriage scene. As Ted really looks to tie the knot after seeing his friends about to get married.
How I Met Your Mother is a very funny sitcom because of Barney Stinson a womanizer that tries to convince his best friend Ted to become a carbon copy of himself and get trying to hook him up with chicks and throughout the show try’s to hook Ted up with the infamous wing-man line, “have you met Ted?!” However, Ted just looking to enjoying his life is just hoping to find his future spouse throughout the show.
The show is really worth watching and you’ll not be disappointed. The cast really work the show in harmony and it gracefully flow very smoothly throughout each episode. Have to give this show four stars just for its good sense of humor and cast members. Very funny sitcom too bad the show had recently ended at four seasons. Throughout the show you’ll be trying to figure out who Ted is going to marry.
